Fujifilm Fellows are chosen annually by the TGP leadership team. Students are considered based on a variety of factors, including completion (or near completion) of TGP coursework, done so in a noteworthy or remarkable manner;  TGP community engagement and leadership, including participation in events, committees, and feedback solicitations, and having exceptional and/or novel research.

In addition, the TGP remains dedicated to the pillars of diversity and equity and is dedicated to choosing a diverse set of students, areas of research, and lab locations, as diverse perspectives not only strengthens our community, but also our science.

Please note that the decision to forgo an application process for this fellowship was intentional. Too often in life, and in the careers of graduate students, competition between peers is common, often to the detriment of community. We would like to honor our students without adding additional stress to their PhD journeys.
